For your practicum, we would like for you to keep your meditation and pranayama practices separate. This makes it clear to your evaluating teacher that you have completed both of these sections. Please choose a pranayama and a meditation practice from the teacher training course. This is more beneficial to you as the student, as it allows you to demonstrate what you have learnt in the course. Your evaluating teacher will also be able to see that you have absorbed the learning and be able to offer you clear and concise feedback if each practice is demonstrated separately.
If it feels like there is too much content at the beginning of your class, when planning your practicum sequence, consider putting the meditation or the pranayama near the end of your practice instead. Often students are more comfortable and able to drop into pranayama and meditation practices once they have moved their bodies through asana first.
