Is online programming recognized with Yoga Alliance?

YES! On September 25, 2021, Yoga Alliance confirmed it approval. This means that if you register for our training, you will receive a Yoga Alliance Approved Certification.

Yoga Alliance is at a crossroads; they understand that live, in-person programming is no longer accessible, affordable or equitable for every student. In all honesty, it never was. The global COVID crisis has made this very apparent.

Please be aware that there is NO legitimate version of Canadian Yoga Alliance. Be aware of this as there are groups posing as membership bodies, collecting fees but have no added value. All Canadian students should, and only if they choose to, register with the group Yoga Alliance.

Remember that no membership with any organization is required for you to teach after you have become certified. They are all optional.
